Summer Fun Campaign Coming to the San Luis Valley

This Summer, you can win prizes just by getting outside in the San Luis Valley! Use the hashtag #SLVGenWild during the months of July and August and you could win a prize donated by our partners. The more you post using the hashtag, the more opportunities to win! We will be giving picking one winner each Friday, and to end the summer, we will be giving two lucky folks a GRAND PRIZE package that includes a National Parks Pass, Colorado State Parks Pass, and a $50 gift card to Kristi Mountain Sports!

How To Join?

There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors in the San Luis Valley, and we will be sharing our favorite locations to recreate in and around our communities. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for inspiration to get you playing outside with your friends and family.

Fun In The Sun

The Summer Fun campaign is sponsored by the San Luis Valley Generation Wild coalition, a group of non-profits all working together to create opportunities and connections to the outdoors for all people in the San Luis Valley. The coalition is funded by Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), an organization that invests a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds to support projects around the state dedicated to outdoor recreation, access, conservation, and more.

Partnerships

All 9 of the coalition partners share a common belief: our youth need an opportunity to play outdoors, to learn about nature, to improve their skills and develop new ones, to be healthy, and to experience the social connections and inclusion that organized activities can provide. Over the past six years, the commitment to your development has encouraged shared services and linked programs.

Make sure to follow us on instagram (@SLVGenWild) and on Facebook (SLV Generation Wild) for ideas of fun things to do outdoors this summer, updates on the Summer Fun Campaign, and information about our partners.
