AAI Staff Training: ERP

The week before Christmas, AAI staff took part in emergency preparedness training with a curated Emergency Response Plan (ERP) so we can be ready to competently respond in a variety of hypothetical emergent situations; most importantly, we learned and practiced identifying and managing different types of risk in both special event and everyday programming.

AAI always considers the safety of the youth and AmeriCorps members in our programs of greatest importance, and trainings like these help us prepare for any number of circumstances that can come up. We are grateful to have the opportunity (and funding) to allow us to partake in professional development with experts such as this! A big thank you goes out to Bix and Pat from the Headwall Group for providing the training and ERP.
