Community Spotlight! Creede Parks and Recreation offers a variety of activities for the youth of Creede like after school activities, peewee sports, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, holiday events, game nights, movie nights, teen nights, family nights, and special occasions. 
At the Creede Parks and Recreation Center, Alpine Achievers Initiative (AAI) AmeriCorps members play a vital role in supporting local youth by leading after school programs that blend academic support with creative and recreational activities. These programs offer a safe space for students to engage in arts, sports, and hands-on learning, fostering personal growth and community connection. AAI’s presence at the Rec Center enhances the quality of out-of-school time for Creede’s youth, contributing to their overall development and well-being.
