Program Spotlight: The Educator Recruitment and Retention (ERR) Program

The Educator Recruitment and Retention (ERR) program is designed to recruit local community members interested in an education career. Members support teachers and students within the classroom by implementing instruction tailored to individual student and parent needs, conducting developmentally appropriate child assessments, and assisting in executing student individual education plans under teacher guidance.

Through the ERR program, AmeriCorps members receive a Behavioral Health Plus certificate and participate in the Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC) program. These provide members with the skill set and relationships to ideally stay in the education field and/or provide on-ramps into behavioral health careers.

If you’d like to support us in this endeavor and our other programs, please donate toward our $10k for 10 years fundraising campaign!
