Special Event Request

Alpine Achievers Initiative (AAI) is a youth-work based non-profit organization. Currently, we have 40+ AmeriCorps members serving at 27+ sites providing youth with the extra support they need to be the best they can be. Our members have an obligation to serve at their main site first, but they can be requested to serve in other youth-serving capacities if they need extra hours and are free from their normal site duties.

If your event will utilize its own point person to handle member coordinator, what is their contact info?

Supplies needed? If so, how will these supplies be acquired? In advance or at the time of the event? Is there a budget for supplies?

Alpine Achievers Initiative has repeatedly heard from members that they feel valued when they are given plenty of notice when asked to support events. Therefore, we officially ask them to sign up and support events in August, December, and April. If we have your organization’s event information prior to these time frames, we will do an official ask of members to support the events and our staff will support with coordination. However, if we do not receive the information prior to these times, we will share the information with them and ask them to directly reach out to your organization if they would like to participate. Our staff’s role will be in sharing the information but not with coordination.

Once the info is shared with AmeriCorps members; they will need approval from both the Site Supervisor and Program Manager; please allow enough time for this to happen when requesting AAI AmeriCorps members. There is no guarantee that AC members will be available to volunteer at your event, but we will share the info if this is a request made prior to the months mentioned above.
