Ways to Support AAI This Holiday Season

By Maddie Interdonato

As the Most Wonderful Time of the Year quickly approaches, consider these ways that you can support Alpine Achievers Initiative!

Sign up for Amazon Smile

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice. By clicking this link, you can select Alpine Achievers Initiative to be the charity you support. Remember – make sure you do your shopping on www.smile.amazon.com!

Attend our Holiday Fundraiser

On Friday, December 13th we will be holding our 3rd annual holiday fundraiser at the San Luis Valley Brewing Company in Alamosa. The fundraiser kicks off at 8:30pm when a band (TBD) will perform until close. For every beer purchased all night, $1 will be donated to AAI. Guests will be also able to purchase prize tickets for $2 a piece to get entered to win awesome prizes from places like the Windsor Hotel and Sand Dunes Recreation pool! More information here, and make sure to invite your friends!

Sponsor A Child

For Colorado Gives Day 2019, we are raising money to keep our after school programs and camps free for participants. Colorado Gives Day is a statewide movement to encourage people to support non-profits that protect and nurture the quality of life in Colorado.

With the donation of $50, you can Sponsor a Child! We offer free meals, transportation, field trips and gear to ensure that no barrier keeps a child from being able to attend one of our programs. Your donation will go to those costs. Schedule your donation here.

Help us reach our goal of $4,000 to help cover our afterschool programs, Winter, Spring Break and Summer camps!

HIS HOLIDAY SEASON, WE HOPE YOU THINK OF US!
