We offer a wide range of initiatives and programs aimed at empowering youth, enhancing education, and fostering community development in these picturesque regions. From academic interventions to workforce development programs AAI is committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families across the San Luis and Arkansas Valleys.
Our academic programs bring AmeriCorps members from all over the country to the area to assist students in the classroom. Pairing struggling students with an AmeriCorps member who can serve them throughout the year increases academic performance, boosts confidence, and gives kids a chance to succeed. Each school and site has different challenges. Having an AmeriCorps member gives sites the flexibility to utilize them throughout the day where they are needed most.
