Weekly Programs

Semester 1: August – December
Semester 2: January – May

The Valley to Valley Homeschool Program, in collaboration with the Mountain Valley School District, delivers social and extracurricular opportunities to homeschool students in the San Luis Valley, Arkansas Valley, and Park County areas. Our offerings include weekly programs and engaging field trips, providing enriching experiences throughout the school calendar year.

*Programs occur one day per week for 5 hours (longer on excursion weeks) during the enrolled semester months

Arts

Include instructional activities like painting, drawing, music, and ceramics.

Adventure

Include local excursions like hiking, skiing, and rock climbing.

Nature

Include environmental education-based activities with a focus on local conservation.

Movement

Include physical education activities like yoga, dance, and team sports.

Requirements

Meeting these requirements means your student participates for free!

Youth must be at least 5 years old by October 1st of the enrollment year

Youth commit to a minimum of 90 hours per semester

Youth cannot be enrolled in another public school system

Caregiver agrees to communicate with AAI staff about tardies and absences

Share your skills or passion with our youth program participants in a one-time session or a 5-week series! Contact us for details on compensation and scheduling.

Host Us

Host our youth program participants for a field trip to explore your farm, business, private land, or other captivating local spot. Contact us for details on scheduling.
