Every year, AmeriCorps members nationwide converge on Southern Colorado to join Alpine Achievers Initiative’s mission of serving rural youth. As a member, you’ll be placed at a picturesque site in South-Central Colorado, providing academic interventions and facilitating out-of-school-time programs.
AAI is currently accepting applications for ONE immediate AmeriCorps opening and applications for our August 2026 cohort!
The immediate position is at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley, while the August cohort serves across schools and youth programs in the San Luis and Arkansas River Valleys.
AAI ensures members receive professional development opportunities, retreats, and outdoor adventures, creating a rich and impactful service year.
